Come and See the ArkLaTex "3-CORNERS"
After lunch Saturday at the Catfish King in Atlanta we will journey
about 12 miles SE to the corner marker for the ArkLaTex, the place where
three states meet. You read about it in last month's newsletter; now load
up the car and meet us in Atlanta. You can get YOUR picture taken at the
3-Corners! The Catfish King Restaurant is about a block north of Wal-Mart
on Hwy 59 (507 Loop 59). We'll go east about 1:30 or 2 o'clock and enjoy
the wildflowers along Hwy 77. The 3-Corners marker is on the north side
of Highway 77 at the Texas-Louisiana line. Arkansas territory starts on
the north side of the marker.
