The Brasil family's daughter Anna Lisee has qualified for Mensa, and they would like to meet other families with similar interests. Darren Gatewood brought his three kids to last month's get-together, and plans to take them to the Brasils also. Come swim, eat hotdogs, and help us plan more Mensa Kids activities. Use the map, instead of worrying about these directions!] From HWY 80 on the west side of Longview, go north on Loop 281 3 blocks, and then Go north on PINE TREE RD-FM 1845 about 6-8 miles to the Spring Hill area. Turn right on George Ritchey-2275, then right on the second street, PRINCE RD. The second house, 5100 Prince Rd. is 2-story and you can see the pool and tennis court. Did you RSVP? Extended directions: Use your state map to find a way to Longview's west side, where the LOOP and HWY 80 intersect. Kilgore-Tyler folks may need to take the 42 exit north to 80. (If you go to down town Longview to exit I-20 you'll drive quite a bit farther.) From north of Longview, coming down US 259, take Loop 281 west to Gilmer Rd, and go north to George Ritchie - 2275. Look for Prince Rd on your left and #5100 on your right.

Just north of the state line on I-30 at the Jefferson St Exit, the 718-Zip and 755-Zip branches of East Texas Mensa will host our monthly meeting. We need a big Texas turnout to greet our three Arkansas members! Bennigan's is on the south side of I-30 about a half-mile north of the Texas border. (call 903-838-3796)
Texarkana area members should watch for another e-mail soon encouraging your presence at this meeting. Would you believe my Outlook Express deleted all the A's, B's, C's, D's, and some of the E's from the individual email groups? I've been dragging names from the main list back into about 5 groups that were affected. I hope everybody's back in their place. I'll check my TXK list twice to make sure all our prospects are invited.

Meet with the TEXOMA AREA MENSA group Thursday June 20 at 7 pm at the Golden Corral Restaurant.

US 82 East and Loy Lake Road (just east of Highway 75 between Sherman and Denison). It's on the SE corner of the intersection of Loy Lake Road and the frontage road of Highway 82 East. Several prospects are requesting tests in the SHERMAN and GREENVILLE areas, which we plan to visit in early July if we get a quorum. We want two consecutive testing sessions each place, on two Sunday afternoons. We've got to "train" some new proctors!
