ZOO: Approaching Tyler from the north on Hwy 69 or 271, travel to the first main road inside the Loop, Martin Luther King Blvd. The ZOO is near the WEST end of MLK. The best parking is on the East side of the zoo (Lots A&B). The best meeting place is at the "Africa Over-Look Snack Bar" in the Western end of the zoo. If you park about 3 pm and take your time going around the north or south side, we should all get to the snack bar around 4:00. Look for Mensa hats and bags at one of the tables, and get a coke or ice cream. Get some souvenirs at the Gift Shop! From the south, go north on 69 (Broadway) past Gentry Parkway to where Broadway ends at MLK and turn left (west). The Zoo is just ahead!
