Sheila says, "How about the Butcher Shop in Longview on Saturday May 12th at 6 p.m.? The Butcher Shop is a lot like Fuddruckers and one of my favorite places." 758-6066. Officially at 102 Lehigh St. just off McCann Rd, we also refer to Spur 63, US 259 and TX 31.
US 259 heads north out of Kilgore, and becomes TX 31 as it crosses I-20. Continuing north, you cross the Sabine River and Loop 1845. About 2 miles after 1845 at the first major intersection turn LEFT (north) on Spur 63-McCann Rd.
You are now a few blocks south of US 80. You go a few blocks north of US 80 and look for the Butcher Shop on the left. From anywhere else besides Kilgore, just go to the west side of the Longview MALL and head south about 3 miles.

The 718-Zip branch of East Texas Mensa in Arkansas will host our monthly meeting. We need a big Texas turnout to greet our three Arkansas members. Just north of the state line on I-30 at the Jefferson St Exit. Bennigan's is on the south side of I-30 about a half mile north of the Texas border. (call 838-3796)

We have made a decision! 5/17, 6/21, 7/19, 8/16, 9/20... Our Texoma Area Mensa Group will meet each third Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at the Golden Corral Restaurant, Highway 82 at Loy Lake Road, Sherman, Texas. -- Roger Powell
The Golden Corral Restaurant - Loy Lake Road and Highway 82, east of Highway 75, in north Sherman. The restaurant is located between Highway 75 and Texoma Parkway, on the south side of Highway 82.
If you are approaching from the north, exit at Highway 82 off Highway 75. Cross over 82 and take the eastbound frontage road to Loy Lake Road. The restaurant will be to your right at the intersection of the 82 frontage road and Loy Lake, just beyond the light.
If you are approaching from the south, exit at Highway 82, east on the frontage road to Loy Lake Road.

Again, the rules for our group are easy. Bring anyone interested. We are not limited just to Mensa members. Also, bring family and friends. We are trying to establish a local group, and all are welcome. The Group will have a family orientation, and there are no hard and fast rules. We need your input to get this group going. So, we are anticipating seeing you on Thursday, May 17, at 7:00 PM at the Golden Corral. We are off to a great start, and we would love to include you and your family and friends in our next meeting.
